This can apply to people who pretend to be your friends, too, but I originally make this because of all the social networks out there (facebook/twitter/myspace/whatever).

Some people have hundreds of "friends" on those sites and spend so much time there typing to random strangers or people they barely know, that they have forgotten how important it is to talk with people face-to-face and actually have meaningful conversations.


I am NOT saying this about all people, just some, so don't take this too personally!

I hold up a shield.
I hate to admit it, but I do.
my friends are the ones who can see though the shield. everyone else gives up.
